We will take a complete tour of our range to understand the meaning of each model’s name and its purpose.

MTB Range

MSC Dragster

The MSC Dragster is the fastest tire in our catalog and is designed for dry and compact terrain. Its name comes from the vehicles that compete in American drag racing events.

MSC Roller

This model won a world championship and a European championship in 2019 with the Romanian Vlad Dascalu of the Brújula Racing Team. Its name means "roller" and it was designed to be used on the rear wheel.

MSC Rock&Roller

Designed to roll fast and offer high performance on uneven and rocky terrain. Its name combines "rock" and "roll", making a wordplay with the musical style rock and roll.

MSC Tractor

Although its name may cause laughter, it’s not a tire for farm work. The keyword is "traction", and those who have tried it have been impressed with its grip.

MSC Singletrack

Our distributors from Northern Europe asked us for a versatile, all-season model. Inspired by the photos of terrains they sent us, we named it MSC Singletrack.

MSC Gripper

The name refers to grip in English. This tire was meant to be our flagship in enduro and gravity, and we successfully achieved it.

MSC Hot Seat

Created in 2019 to win downhill races. Its name comes from the "hot seat" where the fastest riders sit.

Road Range

MSC Road Performance Plus

All our road range has the word “road”. This high-performance training model has an extra “plus” of puncture protection.

MSC Road Slick

Our road tire without tread. Its advanced compound has placed it in a preferred spot among asphalt enthusiasts.

MSC Gravel

This model will appear during 2020, specifically designed for gravel.

At MSC Tires, our philosophy is to name things by their name, making everything easy to understand. Our goal is for users to easily remember the name of each of our models and know the answer to: what do the names of MSC tires mean?
